Amy and Peej - Thank you so much Crista-Lee!!! Having you be a part of our day was so special. I knew right off the bat that flying you in from Nova Scotia was the best choice we could have made because your positive, enthusiastic personality infused our wedding day with so much love and energy! I LOVE all these photos, especially the one with Nadia, Cassie, Maia, and me in the makeout corner! And the one you got of me and PJ laughing together, and Jessie munching on that shortbread cookie! So many wonderful cherished memories… THANK YOU!!!

Amy and Peej - I should also list some of the amazing artists/people who contributed to our wedding…

My dress was made in Florida by Amanda Rose through etsy: http://www.etsy.com/shop/amandarosebridal?ref=seller_info

The beautiful dreamcatchers at our altar were made by Oneiro Designs AKA Alissa Ramage: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Oneiro-Designs/151965158242153

The boutonnieres, corsages, and my headband were made by Blossoms: http://www.blossomsliving.ca/

Other than that, yep, pretty much EVERYTHING was handmade by me, PJ, our family and dear friends.

Andrea + Shane: A Blissful Camp Cheif Hector Wedding

Venue: Camp Chief Hector  |  Cakes: Cake Creations    |   Photography:  Crista Lee Photography   |       Hair: B-Towne       |  Wedding Commissioner: John Stutz

All decor was made by Andrea, Shane and their families!

I met with Andrea and Shane last fall and immediately I understood— there is something uniquely inspiring about this couple… and my oh my was I right.   Over the past 10 months not only was I reminded of how important it is to smile at your spouse these two reminded me of how important it is to be in love… rupturing love.

Shane’s eyes busted into tear the moment he saw Andrea in her wedding gown, as she walked arm in arm with her parents.  She too twinkled happiness from ever move she made throughout the entire day.

Andrea being a Canadian, Saskatchewan girl (and a gifted designer) had a vision of what her wedding would be.  She had the ultimate team behind her, her mother, her grandmother and her great grandmother!  Rumor has it they congregated most weekends throughout the winter to make all the decors this country inspired wedding had detailed.  Everything right down to the linens at the dinner table and the been bag toss games (which never got to be used due to the SNOW, HAIL and RAIN STORMS we encountered on their wedding day) was thought out and charming!!!

Despite the fact that my assistant and I drove gripped at the wheel, on June 9th,  in a blizzard to their wedding somehow the sun came out as soon as they said “I do”  (no joke). And for their family portraits the sun shone on all of us long enough to complete their group, wedding party and one session in a meadow of Andrea and Shane alone!

I can not thank this couple enough for making me part of their wedding… you inspired me, my work and I hope we will remain friends for many years to come!

Much love

Crista-Lee

Andrea made all of these by hand!

Included in Andrea and Shane’s wedding invitation was a request for broaches used by the women in their family.  She crafted this AMAZING broach bouquet out of all the donations, rimed with her Grandmothers pearls and topped with a hand make sliver charm (Shane made himself for Andrea).
