Karen contacted me in June and told me she and her fiancee were wishing to get their engagement photos done at Moraine before they moved back east to Ontario to start their real life together, close to their families. At the time I was booked solid but Karen insisted… please we love your images and it is so important to us. They said they would be driving with their moter home back east and could stay the night in Banff… Their one night turned into three as we had a strange bad weather patter run though Banff. They said no worries they would wait days for the sun to come out if need be!!! So even before meeting these two in person… they captivated me
So yes there are many passionate kissing photos in here but… this wonderful couple reminded me why I love my job and why love is so much fun. They were charged up and had their game on for their session—climbing rocks around raging rivers, hiking little mountains for great photos, and the most important thing was that they were engaged with each other– not just for marriage (which they are) but they flowed together– they looked at each other and with every look came a big smile and kisses and touches! I actually have very few photos where they are both looking in my direction– sounds silly but it was like that because they were lost in each other! They left me inspired;)
