Marti and John Pierre both have a strong love for cross country skiing so when they asked to have their family portraits taken, the Canmore Nordic Center seemed like the most natural setting to to photograph them in! Their 3 year old son was a blast to have in my lens as he is, in my option is a future Olympian, he was a real trooper sprinting up and down the trails.
