Tarifa’s Magnificent Sunsets

To me watching a beautiful sunset is one of the most calming times to embrace.  Three nights ago in Tarifa, a small town full of outdoor enthusiast, I marveled in delight as my kids played on one of the most incredible beaches I have ever seen in my life. There was quite heavy winds so I was a little nervous bringing out my camera but in a few clicks you’ll see how amazing the lighting and vista is here.

Even my son felt warm and fuzzy from this outstanding ambiance!

Julia found a real sea turtle on the beach... amazing!

Spain in April

I do not usually add personal photos to my photo blog but currently we are in Spain for six weeks and the vista here is spectacular.  Being that it is snowing heaps in Canmore I think my clients will enjoy a few photos with green grass, flowers and the romantic European backdrop.

Canmore Nordic Centre, Family Portraits

Marti and John Pierre both have a strong love for cross country skiing so when they asked to have their family portraits taken, the Canmore Nordic Center seemed like the most natural setting to to photograph them in!  Their 3 year old son was a blast to have in my lens as he is, in my option is a future Olympian, he was a real trooper sprinting up and down the trails.  Thanks very much for choosing me to take your family portraits, it was a blast!

Ice Climbing Portraits

Julia and Chris are about to embark on a large journey…they are moving to New Zeland and wanted to have their portraits taken ice-climbing in their newest favorite local cragging area, Marble Canyon.  How could I resist such a fun adventure!
